Mineral make-up, often referred to as today's miracle make-up, is manufactured with minerals that are sterilized and ground into a very fine powder. The powder is then mixed with a variety of natural inorganic colourings to produce different colours.

High quality mineral make-up contains a number of naturally occurring minerals such as titanium dioxide and contains no harsh chemicals such as perfume, alcohol or other comedogenic ingredients. The ingredients may include sun protection, zinc, magnesium and even some anti-inflammatories, which calm and soothe the skin.
